My Full Fragrance Review:
Everybody’s talking about Creed Aventus, and with good reason. It’s a beloved scent. But let’s be honest, there’s a parade of affordable imitations flooding the market. While most of them fall short of the original’s majesty, there are some that stand out. Enter Afnan, a fragrance powerhouse from the UAE, renowned for creating budget-friendly fragrances without compromising on quality. One of my personal favorites is Turathi Blue. But the talk of the town? Supremacy Not Only Intense, often dubbed as Afnan’s nod to Aventus. So, I’ve decided to pen down my opinion and see if the hype is real.
Quick Facts:
Smell:
First off, the concentration. Supremacy Not Only Intense is an Extrait de Parfum. With at least 30% perfume oil, it’s pretty rare for its price range. Upon first spray, it’s INTENSE. Like, borderline overpowering intense. Yet, while it’s good, I wouldn’t call it a spitting image of Aventus. There’s an evident smoky aura as if you’re amidst burning woods, contrasted by some citrus undertones. Its initial profile is reminiscent of Club de Nuit Man Intense by Armaf, but gentler on the citrus. What sets Supremacy Not Only Intense apart? The delightful blend of fruity currant and a hint of sweetness, complemented by the classic masculinity of oakmoss. After the initial olfactory assault, it mellows down, taking on a vibe similar to DesirToxic, but smokier. Here’s my take: Supremacy Not Only Intense isn’t your Aventus clone, but it’s an interesting scent in its own right. Versatile and suitable for almost any setting, it’s a solid addition if you’re considering a single signature scent.
Longevity:
Given it’s an Extrait de Parfum, expectations were sky-high. And Afnan didn’t disappoint, but with a twist. It has commendable longevity, but surprisingly, Club de Nuit Man Intense (a mere Eau de Toilette) edges it out in the duration department. However, rest assured, Supremacy Not Only Intense won’t leave you without a nice scent bubble around you.
