Lattafa is one of the hottest brands currently.
If you’re looking for outstanding perfumes that offer amazing value for money, then you can’t overlook the UAE brand Lattafa. Currently dominating social media, and for very good reason, Lattafa offers perfumes at around $40—a price for which other brands would easily charge multiple times more. In this guide, I’ll share my opinions on the best Lattafa fragrances for men in 2024.
1. Asad
The better Dior – Elixir
Quick Facts:
- Affordable, even for Lattafa
- Long-lasting & potent
- Suitable all-year around
- Very versatile
Let’s dive straight into my most-worn Lattafa fragrance – Asad. Asad is absolutely fantastic. It’s hands down one of the most versatile perfumes available, earning me more compliments than perfumes that are 10 times more expensive (no joke!). Often compared to Dior Elixir , I find Asad to be more youthful and fresher, with a unique Cola vibe. Highly, highly recommended!
2. Maahir Legacy
It’s like an ice-cold Sprite
Quick Facts:
- Summer only
- Mint and Lime
- Average to short longevity
- Coolest bottle ever?
While Asad is certainly my most-worn Lattafa fragrance, Maahir Legacy takes the crown as my favorite! First of all, have you ever seen a bottle like this? Looks amazing, right? This is an absolute no-brainer. If you’re a fan of mint and lime and are searching for the best affordable summer fragrance, then go with Maahir Legacy. It reminds me of an ice-cold Sprite – perfect!
3. Khamrah
Sweet dreams are made of this
Quick Facts:
- Sweet, sweeter, Khamrah
- Literally lasts forever
- Unisex
- For the coldest days
The most hyped fragrance by Lattafa is, without a doubt, Khamrah. Why? Because it offers a truly unique scent while appealing to a wide audience. Khamrah is a 100% unisex perfume that is both very loud and very sweet. It reminds me of visiting a Belgian praline shop in Brussels – the moment you open the door and the aroma of chocolate, pralines, dates, and other sweet treats envelops you. Due to its sweetness, it’s best worn on really cold days to avoid becoming overpowering. If you prefer something a bit less sweet and more masculine, I recommend checking out the newly released flanker, Khramrah Qahwa.
4. Al Qiam Silver
Green grapefruit for summer
Quick Facts:
- All about grapefruit
- Summer
- Average performance
- Underrated
Al Qiam Silver might stand a bit in the shadow of its more popular perfume siblings, yet it remains an outstanding and severely underrated fragrance. Are you a fan of grapefruits? Do you appreciate green, herbal notes? Are you on the hunt for a new summer cologne? If you answered “yes” to all three questions, then Al Qiam Silver is the fragrance for you.
5. Oud for Glory
A true niche experience
Quick Facts:
- True niche experience
- Unique
- Animalic
- Good performance
If you’re looking to dip your toes into niche fragrances, then I would suggest checking out Oud for Glory. This fragrance features an animalic oud-saffron base, a fairly unique combination, especially among affordable perfumes. It’s said to be an affordable alternative to the much more expensive Oud for Greatness by Initio, and it definitely moves in the same direction. Who should try it? Anyone curious about what niche fragrances are all about and who isn’t afraid to stand out with a different and somewhat edgy scent.
6. Eternal Oud
For those special winter nights
Quick Facts:
- Sweet Amber
- Smells upscale
- Winter
- Rich and heavy scent
Eternal Oud is a dupe of the fantastic Grand Soir from Maison Francis Kurkdjian, available at a fraction of the price. When compared side by side, differences are detectable, yet Eternal Oud comes impressively close. Lattafa’s interpretation stands out as a commendable take on sweet and rich amber fragrances ideal for winter. It’s the kind of perfume that sets the tone for an important evening. If you’re a fan of sweet, dense scents, then give it a try. You won’t find anything similar in its price range.
7. Qimmah
A real disappointment
Quick Facts:
- A wild cocktail of different scents
- Sweet and generic
- Strong
- Unisex
Of course, not every creation can be a standout hit. Just as not every Michael Jackson song topped the charts, the same goes for a distinguished perfume house like Lattafa. Qimmah is the weakest fragrance on this list and a real letdown. I find it hard to even describe its scent. It’s merely sweet and generic – and strikingly artificial. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
8. Fakhar
A great alternative to Y from YSL
Quick Facts:
- Fresh & sweet
- Easy to wear
- Versatile
- Youthful and masculine
The market is flooded with perfumes featuring a fresh and sweet fragrance DNA, like Invictus, Y by YSL, and Montblanc Legend Spirit. Fakhar is Lattafa’s take on this popular scent profile. While it may not be groundbreaking, it smells really good and gets the job done. It’s a versatile, youthful fragrance that a man can wear daily at an affordable price. If you like the previously mentioned perfumes, then Fakhar is definitely worth a try.
