Prada has always been my go-to brand for understated fragrances. It’s a funny thing – when I first try a new Prada scent, I often find myself thinking, “nice, but nothing extraordinary.” Yet, after wearing it a few times, I come to appreciate its subtle charm. Luna Rossa Black is no exception to this rule.
Quick Facts:
Smell:
I consider Luna Rossa Black as a perfect “dumb reach” winter fragrance, ideal for those days when you’re not sure what lies ahead and which scent to choose. It boasts a slightly sweet and powdery aroma, tailor-made for colder weather and temperatures up to 15°C. Describing the scent is tricky, as no single note stands out for easy identification. Rest assured, though, it’s a pleasant, unobtrusive smell that won’t overpower those around you.
In my opinion, Luna Rossa Black is an excellent weekday dumb reach scent. It’s subtle enough for a business setting, but still interesting and sexy enough for a spontaneous date. For instance, I’m heading to Estonia next week, where it’s still quite chilly in April. I have a meeting at a bank, so I want to maintain a professional aura, but I also plan to do some sightseeing and don’t want to smell boring. Luna Rossa Black will be my fragrance of choice for the trip.
Longevity:
Luna Rossa Black isn’t a strong projector, especially for a winter scent, and its longevity is average. However, this makes it even more versatile and suitable for various occasions without drawing too much attention.
