Ah, lui/il/he/él by Armani – this scent brings back memories. It was my very first perfume, gifted to me when I was just 13 years old. In this review I want to take you with me on a trip down memory lane and see how I feel about this classic fragrance today.
Quick Facts:
Smell:
Lui/il/he/él has a fresh, citrusy, and woody aroma that I still appreciate. It’s an easy-to-wear scent that can easily adapt to any occasion. Although it’s not the most unique or complex fragrance on the market, it’s far from dull. For a summer-leaning scent, it has an undeniable elegance to it. Picture a well-dressed guy in designer Armani clothes, strolling through the streets of Rome on a sunny day – that’s the vibe lui/il/he/él gives off.
Longevity:
Unfortunately, performance is the Achilles heel of this fragrance. On my skin, it just doesn’t last. Within 30 minutes, it becomes a skin scent, barely noticeable unless you’re up close and personal. So if you’re planning on wearing lui/il/he/él, I’d recommend going for at least 7 sprays to ensure you’re leaving a lasting impression.
