Hey guys! Today, we’re talking about a fragrance that has probably graced the shelves of almost every German man at some point – Boss Bottled from Hugo Boss. This absolute classic was first released in 1998 as an Eau de Toilette, and since then, it has seen numerous flankers. Among them was the fantastic Boss Bottled Intense EdP, which, sadly, has been discontinued.
Quick Facts:
Smell:
Boss Bottled is the epitome of a classic men’s fragrance, oozing that distinct Hugo Boss DNA. Most Hugo Boss scents have a similar traditional masculine vibe, perfect for the conservative yet semi-formal dresser. This one is no exception. It has this herby apple aroma, laced with spices like cinnamon and a touch of sweet vanilla.
It’s not too sweet, making it ideal for autumn and spring, and even winter. But guys, please, don’t make the mistake of wearing this on a scorching summer day. I mean, think about it – apple, cinnamon, and vanilla. Do those notes scream “summer” to you? I don’t think so.
Longevity:
The original Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette lasts a decent amount of time. I slapped some on earlier today and could still catch whiffs of it after 6 hours. It’s just a shame that the Intense version got discontinued because that stuff was a powerhouse in the longevity department.
