You might be familiar with Turathi Blue from Afnan. Today I’ll be reviewing the men’s perfume Turathi Brown from the same house. Despite sharing the same name, these two fragrances are worlds apart. What’s interesting is that Turathi Brown is really affordable, and although the smell is controversial, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the high-quality packaging it comes in.
Quick Facts:
Smell:
So, let’s talk about the smell. While Turathi Blue is a versatile, easy-to-wear blue fragrance, Turathi Brown takes you on a different journey. This is a heavy oriental fragrance, full of woods, resin, smoke, and other exotic influences. The best way I can describe it is like that cough syrup grandma used to give me when I was a kid. It’s not bad, per se, but it definitely has a medicinal, balsamic vibe to it. This is some heavy stuff, perfect for winter and geared towards older men. If you’re a young guy looking to impress on a date, this might not be the one for you.
Longevity:
In terms of performance, Turathi Brown holds its own. It lasts as long as other winter fragrances, but it doesn’t project as strongly. However, this could be a plus if you’re looking for a scent that’s a bit more low-key and won’t be noticed from a mile away.
