Hey guys, let me introduce you to 1 Million Lucky, the fragrance that stands out the most in Paco Rabanne’s popular 1 Million series. This scent is a whole different ball game compared to the other versions. Even the bottle design reflects its uniqueness – it still comes in the iconic gold bar shape, but this time it’s silver instead of gold. So, what makes Lucky so different? Let’s find out.
Quick Facts:
Smell:
Now, 1 Million Lucky is the only 1 Million fragrance I would personally wear. It’s still sweet and loud like its counterparts, but somehow less annoying and way more interesting. Gone is that ambiguous gummy bear fruit mix scent. Instead, Lucky smells like honey and hazelnuts – think sweet caramelized hazelnuts with a hint of fruits and spices in the background. It gives off some oriental vibes, which I dig. I’ve worn this a handful of times to nightclubs, and let me tell you, younger ladies really seem to enjoy it. It’s one of the better clubbing fragrances out there. But take it from me – reserve 1 Million Lucky for nightclub nights only, and avoid wearing it on a warm summer night. I learned that the hard way when it became cloying and even annoyed me.
Longevity:
I’m not sure what kind of magic Paco Rabanne pulled off with Lucky, but it’s even more potent than the 1 Million Parfum. Just one spray is enough to fill the room with its scent, and it lasts forever on my skin. While the fruity, caramelized hazelnut profile might seem perfect for a romantic date, the scent is just too strong and sweet for such intimate occasions. I know I’m usually all about applying more sprays, especially when hitting the club, but with 1 Million Lucky, I’d recommend limiting the number of sprays to around five, even if you’re heading to a party.
