Hawas For Him by Rasasi is a fragrance that’s been in my collection for a while now. A couple of years ago, this stuff was pretty affordable, and I went through one and a half bottles of it. I’ve heard it’s been reformulated a few times, so in this review, I’ll be discussing the version with the purple liquid. Let’s dive in!
Quick Facts:
Smell:
Alright, let me break it down for you: Hawas is like the oriental, grown-up version of Invictus for those of us over 30. It’s loud, sweet, and fresh, but with some unique oriental spices, citrus, and a plum note to make it more wearable for guys beyond their teenage years. The result is a complex fresh-sweet men’s fragrance that stands out.
Think of Paco Rabanne’s Invictus, but with more freshness, less sweetness, and a more mature vibe. I remember getting several compliments while wearing this on the streets of Sao Paulo. This loud, attention-grabbing fragrance is perfect for the nightclub scene, but you can also rock it on dates if you don’t go overboard with the sprays. The oriental and plum notes make Hawas versatile enough for both summer and winter.
Longevity:
Hawas starts out super fresh and strong. After 90-120 minutes, it loses some of its freshness and becomes sweeter. As I mentioned earlier, this fragrance projects well, making it ideal for wearing in a nightclub. Just be cautious if you plan to wear it during the day.
Longevity-wise, it’s pretty solid for a fresh fragrance. I’ve heard it used to be even better before the reformulation, but nowadays, it still offers average performance.
