My Full Fragrance Review:
Recently, I had the pleasure of reviewing the new Armani Sí Eau de Parfum Intense, and ladies, you might now think I lost my mind, but I find it quite challenging to differentiate it from Black Opium in the air. Both fragrances exude a similar essence to my senses. However, the devil is in the details, and on the skin, they reveal their true, distinctive characters. Now, let me share my thoughts on Black Opium.
Quick Facts:
Smell:
Mmmm, yummy, Black Opium is certainly a treat! I’m so over those dull perfumes that merge into a single, forgettable scent. Black Opium, though, really stands out. Like I mentioned, when it’s in the air, it shares some notes with the new Armani Sí Eau de Parfum Intense, giving off a sweet black currant scent that’s quite enjoyable. But get a bit closer, and the distinctions pop. Armani Sí has this modern allure, fresh with just a hint of black currant, pleasing to many. Black Opium, however, is the bolder choice. It’s sweeter, more intense, with the black currant note really making its presence known. Overall, Black Opium is uniquely rich and dense. It’s a fragrance meant for the colder months, ideal if you’re aiming to make an impression. It’s definitely in the ‘sexy’ fragrance category, if you know what I mean 😏.
Longevity:
As I said, Black Opium is dense and really sweet. It’s going to linger on you, ladies, don’t worry about that. But I wouldn’t recommend it for the scorching hot days, as it might become a bit too overpowering.
