Welcome to my review of Uomo by Roberto Cavalli. This is an entry-level fragrance that offers good value for the money asked for. It’s a fragrance that shares a striking resemblance with one of the best office fragrances for men, Prada’s L’Homme. Intrigued? Let’s dive into my full opinion.

Smell:
The moment you spray on Uomo, you’re instantly reminded of the iconic L’Homme from Prada. Uomo kicks off with a distinctly masculine scent; it’s powdery, slightly fresh, and subtly sweet, which is what makes it so similar to Prada L’Homme. For the price point, it smells surprisingly good.
However, Uomo isn’t a carbon copy of Prada L’Homme. When you delve deeper, you’ll find a host of differences. Firstly, Uomo doesn’t have the dominant Iris note that gives L’Homme its luxurious vibe. Secondly, Uomo leans towards the fresher side and is less sweet. While L’Homme is undoubtedly a higher quality juice, Uomo holds its own as a fresh, clean, and professional smelling perfume that I would primarily wear to the office. It’s a versatile fragrance that’s suitable for a variety of situations and almost all seasons.
Longevity:
When it comes to longevity, Uomo is just average. It offers average longevity, average projection, and average performance. It’s not a fragrance that will last all day, but it will certainly get you through a workday or an evening out.
